Weeks Communications Launches Toy Drive

Fast-Growing Anderson Communications Company Using Get Linked EXPO Sponsorship to “Launch” Toy Drive

COMPANY OF YOUNG, ENERGETIC ENTREPRENEURS PARLAYS BUSINESS SPONSORSHIP INTO AN OPPORTUNITY TO GIVE BACK TO THE LOCAL COMMUNITY

OCT. 21, 2011 – ANDERSON, IN – One of the hottest young companies in Central Indiana, Weeks Communications is using their energy and visibility as sponsors of the LAUNCH section of the upcoming Get Linked EXPO to “launch” a drive to help area children have a better Christmas this year.

Partnering with The Salvation Army, Weeks announced a Toy Drive that kicked off this week and will wrap up with what they hope will be a huge toy collection at the Get Linked EXPO on Nov. 3 at Hoosier Park. Their goal is to collect 500 new, unwrapped toys for infants to high school age youth between now and Nov. 4.

“We chose to sponsor the LAUNCH piece of the Get Linked EXPO because we’re excited to help showcase new product and service launches from companies like ours that are growing and thriving in this region,” says Weeks founder and CEO Cameron Weeks. “It seems only fitting to give back to the community that has helped us grow as a company, and this event is the perfect venue for a fast and successful toy drive that can do just that and help a bunch of kids have a happier Christmas.”

In conjunction with EXPO managers the Madison County Chamber, Weeks is offering a discount code for free admission ($7 value) to the EXPO to anyone donating one toy and will provide a free month of Weeks Communications phone service to anyone donating two or more toys. To take advantage of the free admission offer, go to www.getlinkedexpo.com, click on “attend” and enter the code “weekscomm” at registration. Bring your toys to the Weeks sponsored LAUNCH section at the Get Linked EXPO between 2 and 6 PM on Thurs., Nov. 3 at Hoosier Park Racing & Casino.
