Madison County Federal Credit Union named Business of the Year by Elwood Chamber of Commerce

Elwood, Ind. --- Madison County Federal Credit Union (MCFCU) was awarded the 2011 Business of the Year Award by the Elwood Chamber of Commerce during their annual meeting held at the Elwood Historic Opera House on January 28th.

The award recognized MCFCU's dedicated support of many Elwood community organizations and events. Among those cited were the Elwood Glass Festival, Concerts in the Park, Morrisette Center, the K9 Fund and Shop with a Cop programs at the Elwood Police Department. Also cited were Farmers Market, Red Gold Chili cook-off and Colts Blue Fridays.

"This year marks our 25th anniversary in Elwood and our 77th year in Madison County," said David Dodd, CEO of MCFCU. "We believe being a part of and serving our community is what a local business should be all about.”
