Happy New Year, Madison. This is Kyle Morey with the Madison County Chamber inviting you out to a very special event: one that will inspire, ignite, and instill hope in the future of our County. It’s called Make a Joyful Noise in Madison County and it all happens on January 13 from 6 to 9pm at BluFalls in Pendleton.

Part of that joyful noise will include an awards presentation featuring the newly named Keith Pitcher Award, our 50, 75 and 100 Years in Business Award, and Ambassador of the Year. The event will include a silent auction, social networking, a changing of board leadership, and best of all, our keynote speakers Bill and Gloria Gaither. The Gaither’s will share insights from their past, their present, and a look into their future. From humble beginnings as teachers to successful songwriters and singers, the Gaithers exhibit the attributes and characteristics of successful entrepreneurs and a true desire to see Madison County prosper. As Bill once shared with me: "hope sometimes takes a lot of hype!"

It is my hope that you can join us in making a joyful noise in Madison County as we look forward to what we can accomplish in 2011 and beyond. That's what all the hype is about.
